Frequently Asked Questions

How long does wingfoiling take to learn?

The average time it takes to get from the beach to riding the board is usually between 8 and 10 hours.

Experience with another watersport (surfing, kitesurfing) may help in progressing faster with the wingfoil.

Is wingfoiling safe to learn?

As with all extreme sports, there are risks to learning wingfoiling. Our instructors are trained to minimize risk and we also provide helmets to ensure extra safety.

Can I learn to wingfoil without any water sport experience?

Absolutely! All it takes is interest in the sport and the motivation to get down to the beach.

Do I need to take a lesson or can I try wingfoiling on my own?

It is highly recommended to spend at least 2 to 4 hours learning with an instructor before going out and wingfoiling on your own. This is for your own safety as attempting any extreme sport without proper guidance can be dangerous.

If you're looking to get into the sport but you're not sure what it's all about, consider an introduction course.

What is special about wingfoiling?

The feeling of freedom gliding through the water on your magic carpet is what we find makes wingfoiling special.
